Bisco's Farfalle

A quick and simple pasta dish using Bisco's unique Italian Salsa. In many of the romance languages, "salsa" means "sauce". Americans grow accustomed to their use of the word to mean a chunky tomato dip for chips. Hopefully great and simple recipes like this will give us some other ideas!

1 pound imported Farfalle pasta or similar shape
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 shallot chopped fine
1 16 oz. Jar of Bisco's Wimpy Salsa
2 or 3 fresh basil leaves chopped
salt and pepper to taste

• Pasta should be prepared in advance and set aside with a little oil on it to prevent sticking.
  
  
• In large frying pan, warm olive oil.
  
  
• Add garlic and shallots and sautÈ for a minute or so.
  
  
• Add Bisco's Salsa and stir in till heated up. Stir in pasta, and let cook another 2 minutes.
  
  
• Add basil and stir in.
  
  
• Season with salt and pepper if desired.
