The director of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Dr. John Fitzpatrick, is going to be on NPR's "Morning Edition" Thursday or Friday morning of this week discussing the Lab's new CD called "The Diversity of Animal Sounds." The CD celebrates the fascinating voices of the world's animals, and Dr. Fitzpatrick will be sharing the stories behind some of these sounds and the importance of protecting the earth's biodiversity. Meanwhile.... our little store is overflowing with holiday greenery like Christmas trees, our own hand made wreaths, holly, boxwood and fresh cut flowers. Of course the food shelves are loaded too with the usual mix of fresh, organic and gourmet.
