Here is something that is fun and supports a great local cause. The much anticipated CSMA "Picture Perfect" calendar is out and on sale at Ludgate Farms. We had customers asking for these before we had a chance to display them! We have a terrific selection of NYS apples from NY family farms. Every year we get many questions about the apples. Our apples are grown on regular family farms some of them here in Tompkins County. These apples have not been experimented with in any way: no biotech stuff... no hitech stuff... only plain fresh apples.  Just a few of the varieties available so far: Cortland, Crispin (Mutsu), Empire, Gala, Gingergold, Honeycrisp, MacIntosh, Macoun, Northern Spy, Red Delicious... late varieties just in: Gala Supreme (a jumbo version), Golden Delicious, Liberty, and Sweet 16, Spy Gold and Ida Red.  For future Olive Oil tastings... http://www.ludgatefarms.com/events.html (click me!) check our web site and your email for dates. These turkeys are free range and drug free - raised in Vermont and harvested for us on a pre order basis only. Deadline to order is Nov., 1st!! Deposit required. See one of our cashiers for details. I enjoyed all the positive feedback emails from the last couple emails. I am new at this webslinger stuff and appreciate your encouragement.
